Davis Martin has appeared in six games for the Sox this season. He owns a 1-3 record with an ERA of 4.67 in 27 innings pitched. Martin’s last MLB outing was a six-inning start in the first game of a doubleheader at Cleveland on July 12.
Parker Markel was claimed off of waivers by the White Sox in June. The club initially optioned him to the Charlotte Knights. While he hasn’t appeared with the MLB squad to date, this move to outright him will clear up a spot on the Chicago White Sox 40-man roster.
